Spectrometric Gamma Water Monitor SMU-03S
The RTS SMU-03S is a microprocessor controlled unit for radiation monitoring in water by means of an underwater gamma probe constituted by 3 elements:

  • SDA-01 Detector, preamplifier and HV supply assembled in a sealed cylinder for underwater operation
  • MAB-03G Monitoring processor, housed in a dedicated enclosure, connected to SDA-01
  • MiniLPU Main processor serially connected to MAB-03G
  • MAB-03G, MiniLPU and power supply may be installed together in a single enclosure.

The RTS SMU-03S Water Monitoring Station is designed to autonomously run without any operator intervention. It means that as normal use the operating software of the MiniLPU, which is the managing section of the station, usually run without the need of any local operator interface (display/keyboard/mouse) or locally connected computer.

However the above connections are both available and can be used for the first setting-up or even during operation (as adding alternatives to the remote or ‘central’ computer) for changing the operating parameters, for local testing or, if desired, for local management too.
